The hospital property is owned by the Fort Morgan Community Hospital Association and is governed by local community leaders who are selected at the Annual Meeting of the Association. They are assisted by its closely related partner board, the Fort Morgan Community Hospital Foundation, which helps the Association with endowment management and purchase recommendations. The Association continues to renovate and construct new medical facilities and to enhance the operations by purchasing numerous pieces of equipment and furnishings. All resources realized are utilized for the support and improvement of the facilities, equipment, and services of Colorado Plains Medical Center.
